Towson Gets Spooky this Halloween Season

The scary season is upon us, which means it’s time to make plans to celebrate Halloween. For residents of Hampton Plaza Apartments, getting spooky is simple; tons of businesses within walking distance of the apments have fun events planned.

Whether you’re a parent with kids hoping to dress up and have some fun, an adult in search of a costume party, or you just need to track down a great spot to buy candy (no matter what your age), there’s something for you in downtown Towson.

Here’s a look at a few of the local events and activities that are sure to be a good time:

Sweets & Treats
Halloween season is the time for candy – there’s no doubt about it. If you’re in the market for treats, either to give away to trick-or-treaters or to keep for yourself, local businesses have a few fun options.

Sweet TreatsIf you’re looking for unusual candies to share (or not share) this season, The Fresh Market has you covered, with great trick-or-treat options, like Jelly Belly “kids mix” packs and individually packaged SmashMallow marshmallows.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, Godiva Chocolatier in Towson Town Center will celebrate Pumpkin Day with a special offer: if you buy one Pumpkin Spice Chocolixir – a frothy, sweet drink – you’ll receive a second for half off.

Speaking of pumpkin, you only have from now through Halloween to enjoy the pumpkin bagels at THB Bagels & Deli. Get there while they’re hot!
