The management of Hampton Plaza would like to pass along some important things to think about as we are spending a lot of time at home & a few simple tricks to staying active & healthy.

Stand Up!

Get up from your computer, couch, chairs, etc at least once every 30-45 minutes & walk around, stretch, or simply get the blood flowing.

Eat Right!

Make sure you are eating 3-5 meals per day, drinking plenty of water, limiting junk foods & other sugary items, & having a balanced breakfast to start the day.

Get to Bed!

Try to keep a normal routine as you would during school. Don’t stay up past midnight (really should be getting to bed by 10pm). Turn off your devices 30-60 minutes before bedtime. If you have some time, also feel free to get in a nap or two during the day!

Move Your Body!

Remember, we want to stay physically & mentally healthy so make sure you are spending at least 45 minutes each day doing something active. Some examples include biking, jogging, playing outside, walking the dog, stretching/yoga, swimming, etc. Do a little every day & you will be amazed at the results you see & feel in your body.

Feel free to reach out to the management office if you have any questions or concerns.
