This February, love is in the air at Hampton Plaza Apartments and all around downtown Towson. But this month isn’t only about Valentine’s Day – we also have football, music and a lot more on the horizon.
Here’s a look at what’s happening right outside the doors of Hampton Plaza:
What’s New in the Restaurant World
Under newly relaxed guidelines, restaurants and bars no longer have to close at 10 p.m., so late-night dining is once again an option in Towson.
That’s not the only news, either.
Cunningham’s Café
Cunningham’s Café has a great lineup of freezer items available for purchase, from cookie dough to chicken noodle soup. They’re easy to carry home – and delicious.
CVP
CVP’s popular bottomless brunch has returned very Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
THB
THB’s cinna-bagels are back on the menu – a perfect way to enjoy dessert-breakfast.
Barley’s Backyard Uptown
Barley’s Backyard Uptown has a new menu item: the #BarstoolFund Bucket – a cocktail in a bucket with a special bonus: $4 of every bucket sold goes to the #BarstoolFund, which is raising money to directly support small businesses struggling due to COVID.
Towson Town Center
Towson Town Center’s Dine & Delight promotion is still underway. From now through the end of February, spend $50 or more (via takeout, delivery or dine-in) at a participating restaurant and you’ll receive a $20 reward card.
The list of participating restaurants is long and includes The Brass Tap, Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, and even Chick-fil-A.
Super Bowl Fun
The Ravens might not have made it to the big game (this year) but watching Kansas City vs. Tampa Bay can still be a lot of fun.
Burger Bros.
Burger Bros. is a great option for wings and burgers. And don’t miss the fries – they’re classic Ocean City-style spuds.
CVP
CVP has dine-in and carryout specials available for Super Bowl Sunday.
Valentine’s Dining
Nacho Mama's
Nacho Mama’s has lots of plans in store for Valentine’s Day, including a special prix fixe option to celebrate. The restaurant also has a fun contest underway: you can enter to win an evening in the Elvis room with up to six people.
Café Troia
Café Troia will offer a special three-course menu, with multiple options available, throughout Valentine’s weekend – from Feb. 12 to Feb. 14. The romantic restaurant will also have specials available a la carte.
C&R Pub
C&R Pub has a couple live music evenings scheduled. On Friday, Feb. 12, Jim Wockenfuss and John Love will be at the pub and on Saturday, Feb. 27, Jim Zorn will play.
